Embracing the Promise

My short walk on this earth has led me to places that many people only see on television. I have experienced more joy and pain than people without real passions ever will. So many people exist from day to day, shaping opinions with the wind, and never taking risks or choosing to stand for anything of substance. I am not one of them.

This week, today and this minute, I am beginning my Magnum Opus. This will be the greatest journey of my life. So many factors have led me to this place, so many rewarding experiences, false starts, missteps, experiments and joy. I have looked for love many places and found support in surprising ones. I have tried the normal, the routine, the salacious, sinful and the Godly. I claim to be neither perfect, nor unredeemed. I am a simple seeker, beginning a journey. This will be one of the most difficult journeys of my life, but possibly the most joyous. I have decided to pursue the lifestyle of polygamy.

Psalm 37:4 states: "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart". I desire a large, loving and Christ-centered family with many children. I desire the love of a strong, faithful man who walks with God. I desire the love and support that only the closest of sisters can provide. I delight in the Lord and will wait for Creator to guide me where I need to go.

I will wait on the Lord. I will pray in faith. I will embrace the promise of Psalm 37:4 and I will walk the path of joy.
